WHAT IS THE CLEAN SEAFOOD COLLECTION?
The Clean Seafood Collection stands for uncompromising quality, genuine sustainability and transparent origin of fish and seafood.
The story begins in 2019 with the founding of Fischgeniesserei on Norderney. From the very beginning, our aim has been to offer the best fish under responsible conditions – fresh, honest, and with respect for the sea and people. In 2022, we expanded our business to include a small fish delicatessen. Another milestone followed in 2024 with the opening of the Bootshaus harbor restaurant.
However, with the growth of our businesses, we reached a clear limit: High-quality, sustainably produced fish and seafood products are often not consistently transparent in the industry, not consistently available, or are calculated at prices that are neither fair nor economically sensible.
After intensive research and deep insight into international supply chains, it became clear: We need to take a different path.
Janis embarked on a journey to find the world's best fishermen, producers, and manufacturers – partners who share our values and are committed to uncompromising quality. The Clean Seafood Collection was born from these direct relationships.
Today, the Clean Seafood Collection unites a curated selection of top-quality fish and seafood products: sustainably produced, transparently sourced, and fairly priced.
